1. Who We Are

SportsWatchApp ("we") operates SportsWatch.

2. What We Collect

• Account data: first/last name, email, password hash, team membership and role, jersey number (players).
• Content: game metadata and your timestamped comments.
• Video: game footage streams from YouTube; original files are stored privately and made available for download by players and coaches only.
• Donations: handled by Stripe; we keep a donation record (amount, currency, status, optional donor email) but not full card data.
• Technical: an essential session cookie and security logs.

3. Footage of Minors

Footage may include minors and is shared only within a team's invited, approved audience.

4. How We Use Data

To provide team-scoped access, show comments with author name and role, send service emails (invites, password setup/reset, new-video notices), process donations, and secure the platform. We do not sell personal data.

5. Sharing

We share data only with service providers needed to run SportsWatch (streaming provider, storage, donations and our SMTP email provider), each acting under their own terms.

6. Retention

We keep data while your account/team is active and as required by law, then delete or anonymize it. Deleting a game or season removes its stored video objects.

7. Your Rights (PIPEDA)

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and may withdraw consent, subject to legal limits.

See our Cookie Notice. We use only an essential session cookie by default; non-essential cookies are off unless you opt in.
